analysis and interpretation of blood test results
Laboratory range versus Functional range... that is the question! Really it is the answer to a profound approach to assess nutritional deficiencies and perhaps prevent metabolic stress. Dr D uses Functional ranges which means, ranges that meet a better physiological expectation for optimum performance.
Laboratory ranges are ranges dealing with mostly pathology and Western Medicine are expert at those assessments. The use of functional ranges allows visualizing the chemistry in motion perhaps before a formal diagnosis is labeled. The greater mass of us individuals live with symptoms that are not always explained or confirmed via standardized Laboratory evaluation. It sometimes takes 30 to 50 years before a full blown diagnosis is confirmed and enough tissue damage can be measured or quantified on an MRI or lab evaluation.
Functional Blood analysis is therefore used as another great asset to further understand the bigger picture of each individual’s health profile.
I came to Dr D in a much weakened state, both physically and emotionally. She was warm and sensitive and took great care in making me feel comfortable and supported. People say that I look like a different person then I did two years ago, and I attribute much of that to the work I did with Dr. D. She helped bring me back to a healthy state of being.
